Opportunity:
Creative Intern
Are you a creative force with a passion for arts, crafts, and social media? Do you love taking beautiful photos and coming up with exciting new ideas? Alvan Room is looking for a creative intern with initiative and imagination to join our team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in multiple aspects of our growing creative business. You won't be limited to routine tasks; you'll help us prepare collections, create content, engage our community, and keep the Alvan Room brand alive!
What you will do (main responsibilities):
Content Creation & Photography:
We coordinate, photograph, and edit high-quality images and videos of our products for our website, social media, and marketing materials.
Creating engaging content, including Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and behind-the-scenes stories that showcase the fun of our groups.
Social Media & Community Management:
Assistance in planning the monthly social media content calendar.
Writing engaging texts, publishing content, and actively interacting with our followers by responding to comments and messages.
Monitoring social media trends and suggesting new ideas to increase our reach and audience engagement.
Marketing & Idea Generation:
Participating in brainstorming sessions for new marketing campaigns, product ideas, and partnerships.
Assistance in planning and implementing offline activities, such as pop-up shops, workshops, or market stalls.
Operations & Product Support:
Practical involvement in our products by helping to assemble and pack activity kits and gift boxes.
Assistance with inventory management, including storing supplies and organizing our creative workspace.
Support the team with daily operational tasks as needed.
Who we are looking for (qualifications):
A student or recent graduate in marketing, graphic design, communications, business administration, or any related field.
A genuine passion for arts and crafts and DIY culture.
A strong creative vision for photography, composition, and visual aesthetics.
Proficiency in using social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok.
Initiative and willingness to do work — not afraid to engage in different tasks and work hard.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A creative thinker full of new ideas.
Basic skills in photo and video editing (using Canva, CapCut, or similar applications) are a great added advantage.
Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
